I took this a few months back in central Alberta. I noticed the other day that if you look in the living room window, from the way the photo was taken, it looks like a shadow of a figure inside there.

I’ve been really sick the last few days, and haven’t had any energy to edit some of my new photos, so I decided to do a throw back photo from 2019 when I had just started taking an interest in abandoned photography.

2023 calendars was a huge success!! Almost 50 sold this year compared to 20 last year!! The support is mind boggling, and I can’t thank y’all enough!! I have now had some demand for tumblr cups to be done. I’m in the middle of trying to find someone to make them, and as soon as I do, I’ll post details.

I took this yesterday on my in-laws land. This mobile home that has now collapsed, was at one time the home to my mother in law’s grandma when she lived on the family land.

New batch of calendars have arrived. Going to try and get ahold of everyone in the next few days for pick up arrangements. I also still plan on having travel mugs and framed photos available for Christmas season.

Took this out by Pine Lake the other day. It’s not that old of a house, but the neighbors said it has sat abandoned for the last 3 years as the owners randomly up and left.

Calendars have arrived 😁 all 20 of these have sold, and I have 15 more to be ordered next week. I will be contacting people in the next few days for pickup arrangements with these ones!

I just want to give a huge thank you to everyone who supported me this year with my 2023 “into the abandon” calendars. I have doubled what I sold last year, and cannot wait to show you what they look like. I’ve had one made up that my beautiful daughter is holding, but no one gets to see it yet as it will be a surprise when you get yours. The order will be put in tomorrow, and they should be here within a few weeks. Thank you all so much!!

Happy Friday to y’all. I will be reaching out to everyone today who has been asking about purchasing a 2023 Into the Abandoned calendar. If anyone else is interested, Monday will be the final day until I order them. $20 a calendar, and if they need to be mailed, I’ll have to get shipping cost from you :)

Here are the pictures for the 2023 into the abandoned calendars that I’ve decided on. I am giving everyone until early September to decide if they would like on or not, and then I’ll have the calendars officially made. I’ve already had a great response with people wanted them. Just let me know if you’d like one also.

Abandoned barn by Didsbury that I took last week.

Time to start taking a head count for how many people want a 2023 into the abandoned calendar?!? They will be $20 just like last year. I will have to ask for money upfront this time, as I had too many no shows last year, and I was stuck with a few leftover calendars.

Took this last winter out by Stettler, but could never make it look good to my liking, but might as well post it along with the story. I had to take it from so far away due to the deep snow. I met the guy who owned the land, and his relatives many years ago called this place home when they came to Alberta.

If my memory serves me correct, this was my very first abandoned photo I ever saved to my collection. I never did post it because it was so far back in my collection that I forgot about it.

I took this quite awhile back, but never had the chance to do my edits on it as I kept getting sidetracked with other pictures. Something about grain elevators that always capture my attention.

I realized yesterday going through my pictures that I never did post this one. It was an old abandoned one room school literally out in the middle of nowhere about 15km north of Alberta Beach.
