2026 marks the 50th Anniversary of the museum. To make the anniversary the museum had 50th Anniversary Coins made. The coin is antique silver and 1.75 inches in diameter with the original Swamp Rat on the front and 50 Years on the back. There are only 1100 of these coins available. If you would like to get yours make sure to stop by the museum or go to the Gift Shop page at www.garlits.com. The coins are $25.00.

It is with sincere sadness that I must pass on that the Mopar community lost a dear friend last night. Rick Senkow passed away last night in his sleep. Rick and his wife Anita and myself helped for many years put on the car show, Mopars With Big Daddy. He really enjoyed each year helping Don put this show on and looked at it as a vacation so to speak. Rest in peace my friend.

Due to the calls and request we have extended the 2024 Mopars with Big Daddy Pre-Registration for Car Show Registration, Vendor/Swap Meet Spot, and Car Corral Spot, until Thursday October 31st 5:00 pm. If you have not registered for the show you still have time to.
