Another Verde BioBlitz in the books! 🌿💧

This was the 6th year that Science Vortex and partnered to bring Verde Valley 5th graders into riparian areas as community scientists.

This year, 544 (!) students went into the field, and during the two week BioBlitz window participants from across the community uploaded 6,438 (!) photos documenting the biodiversity of the Verde Valley.

Thanks to all the educators, volunteers, students, and community members who made it happen!
