Pugh selected for inclusion in the 701 CCA SC Biennial.
I am one of twelve SC artists selected for Part Il of the 701 CCA South Carolina Biennial. There will be a opening reception on Friday, November 19, 7:00-9:00. Drop by if you aren’t doing anything…there is a $5.00 suggested donation. The exhibition will be up through December 23.

African American history is rich and deep but don’t expect to learn much about our story in the classroom. I always enjoyed working at the library because I could always find information pertinent to my interests and I made sure to order materials for our diverse community. I hope this painting

Good Trouble portrays Black Lives Matter protesters. Pugh named the piece in honor of the late Congressman John Lewis. It depicts the diversity of protesters during the movement. These protests came after the death of George Floyd and others in 2020.
