The river and the wall.
_
Documentary showing today at 4pm at the hall.
_
The documentary follows five friends on an immersive adventure through the unknown wilds of the Texas borderlands as they travel 1200 miles from El Paso to the Gulf of Mexico on horses, mountain bikes, and canoes, setting out to document the borderlands and explore the potential impacts of a wall on the natural environment. As the wilderness gives way to the more populated and heavily trafficked lower Rio Grande Valley, they come face-to-face with the human side of the immigration debate front and center.

Suggested donation: $5.

FYI: I saw a coyote run between the DMV and Prospect Park this morning! If you're around the park, keep your animals in at night!
This looks like a great exhibit-on now in NYC, near the High Line. My Sister Nancy just visited and sent this to me- I love the amazing detail. In the exhibit the photos are huge. I have done similar pictures of most of these-can't wait to see how mine compare...I suspect his are better... Ned Pratt
Missing Fence on Pawling Ave??
Respectively, What Happened To The Fence. Why Was It Taken Down? Many years ago I seen a couple of stacks of this fence. At the time I didn't know the history and importance of it. There isn't much left of the fence, where I last seen it but I do wonder why James Cooper the 3rd had it all these years. It's Shameful that this fence just disappeared one day and I am also sure there are Many people that have wondered where it went and Why Was It Removed. I'm friends with a former member of the mt Ida preservation and he has confirmed That it IS the missing fence with obvious attempts to conceal it's presence. He photographed the remaining sections of fence and it's location. Knowing Jimmy Cooper the 3rd (aka: James Cooper, James Cooper Jr. etc.) very well, and the things he does, this doesn't look good.
