Friends of Tolland Public Library

Friends of Tolland Public Library Friends of Tolland Public Library is a non-profit membership organization which provides support to the library. GOOD LIBRARIES NEED GOOD FRIENDS!
Proceeds from memberships and fundraising are used to support the library by purchasing items not normally included in the library budget. These include equipment and materials, as well as sponsoring library programs for adults and children.

In its 31 years, the Friends have provided valuable support to the library. In the last 10 years, over $30,000 has been donated to ensure Tolland's library has the best equipment and resources for use by all our patrons. Funds have been used to purchase furniture, computers, printers, a receipt printer, and a people counter. The collections have been enhanced with large print books and CDs. The Friends continue to provide the popular free and reduced admission museum passes to area museums, the subscription to the monthly book review newsletter "Book Page", WOWbrary and the on-line events calendar.

Mission: Our purpose is to provide support to the library through advocacy, volunteer service and fundraising to enhance resources, facilities and services for the community.

Thank you for making me feel very welcome today!😄
Just cleaned out a library of craft and gardening books, mostly in almost new condition. Could you use these for the book bundles? And about a dozen rolls of large holiday ribbon. I can drop them off.
