The following is shared with us by Nathan Querry: If any one can help with identifying any of the people in these photos that would be great.

Photo#1 Jesse Beaver Cornelius, Nancy Ann Cornelius (I think, but am not certain) and Joseph Edwin Cornelius. I know that Pauline is the little girl in the white dress that is between Edwin and the person who is named Annie in the picture.

#2) & #3) Joseph Edwin Cornelius Funeral Card

#4) Fulton County News

#5) Supposedly of Edwin Stanton Cornelius and his wife Annie Hudson. Is that Annie Hudson in both of the pictures?? I have my doubts that it is Annie Hudson in both of these pictures??

Lets start the year off on some never seen before EBT RR photos at Pogue, PA!

These photos are shared by Dan Lane. Photos taken by his father Ralph Lane circa 1950 Pogue, PA.

Photo#1 is of the third siding at Pogue which held ties. Looking north towards Rockhill, Pogue Station would just be out of the picture to the right. The barn on the left is now the Smith's and the Barn in the right background is Senfts near the trestle.
Note: There were three rails at Pogue now all that remains is the siding. Which is one of the longest siding on the line.

Photo#2 is looking south towards Three Springs, PA.

Photo#3 is looking north towards Rockhill. The deck of the Pogue trestle can be seen if you zoom in just behind the work crew. The Walker home is to the right which now sit across from the Southern Huntingdon Co High School.

Thanks Lonnie for all your hard work.

What a year!! Thank you to all those who have come and participated in the Huntingdon County History & Heritage Roundtable Meetings! Also a big thank you to the places that have hosted us! Its been a great year and we're looking forward to what 2020 will bring!

Since our first meeting of the HCH&HR in November 2018 we have had one every month except 1. Our meetings are open to the public and anyone can attend. We meet generally on the 4th Tuesday of the month and rotate from 6pm at the Huntingdon County Historical Society one month and then 10am at Isett Heritage Museum. And if an organization would like to host a meeting we are glad to meet there instead. Meeting information is always posted on our HCH&HR page.
At our meetings we have had in attendance from 14-30 people. We hear a report from every represented organization so we are keeping in the loop on all the historical happenings around the county, discuss ideas, and help each other out, and so much more. From the 13 meetings we have had a total of 71 different people attend! All are welcome, the more the merrier!

Together we have decided to update the County Heritage Guide that was a project done in the 90s. This project is still in the works and we hope it to be a brochure, website, and in the future a passport for all the history and heritage sites and organizations in Huntingdon County.

Together we have done Common Themed Display month(s).

Hear from the "County Veterans Monument Committee". In March 2019 they placed a monument on the Courthouse grounds for the 5 Medal of Honor Recipients from the county. Now they are currently working on a monument for World War I. Looking for names of all WWI Veterans from Huntingdon County. A program will list all county WWI vets

Worked with the Huntingdon County Emergency Management Agency (PA) to make an inventory of libraries and historical facilities located in communities throughout Huntingdon County. The information was not previously available in a consolidated database. Information for each site including primary contacts for the facility in case of emergency, the fire company, fire chief and local Emergency Management Coordinator (EMC) for the municipality where each facility is located are also included in the data. This information is now available at the Huntingdon EMA Office and shared with the 911 Center as well as with each local EMC in the communities where these facilities are located.

I want to take a minute to thanks all the organizations that have been represented. Please go and like their pages too!

Huntingdon County EMA Senior Volunteer Vince Lombardi is featured in the latest edition of the Retired Senior Volunteer Program Newsletter! We're proud to have Vince on our team!

RSVP Volunteer Compiles Emergency Management Data--
Huntingdon County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) RSVP volunteer Vince Lombardi has completed a pilot project that involved compiling an inventory of libraries and historical facilities located in communities throughout Huntingdon County. The information was not previously available in a consolidated database.
Vince researched information for each site including primary contacts for the facility in case of emergency. The fire company, fire chief and local Emergency Management Coordinator (EMC) for the municipality where each facility is located are also included in the data. Vince organized the data in both digital and hard copy formats. This information is now available at the Huntingdon EMA Office and shared with the 911 Center as well as with each local EMC in the communities where these facilities are located.
Each facility will also get a copy of their information sheet that includes contact information for the Central Pennsylvania Alliance for Response which is a regional group that has resources available to help cultural sites that experience an emergency or need other assistance.
Joe Thompson, director of Huntingdon County EMA, said, “This was a unique project that involved quite a bit of time and effort to pull together since no one has really done it before. Our EMA staff of two people couldn’t have taken on this project without having Vince available through RSVP. He jumped right in on the task 100% to create something that is very helpful and that is being looked at as a model by others in our region, and even the state."
