The museum will be closed with the rest of campus August 10th.

Coastal Alabama will be closed Monday, August 10th for Institute Day as our faculty and staff come together for a day of professional development and preparation for the academic year ahead.

The William Bartram and Alabama Traveling Exhibit is now on display at the Kathryn Tucker Windham Museum on the Thomasville Campus. Sponsored by the Caroline Marshall Draughon Center for the Arts & Humanities at Pebble Hill in the Auburn University College of Liberal Arts, this engaging exhibit explores Bartram's travels and connections to Alabama. We are delighted to partner with the Center to host this free exhibit throughout the month of August.

We had a wonderful time making new friends and planning something fun with the Monroe County Public Library and Monroeville Main Street. We can't wait to share more details soon! It was a pleasant surprise to hear the wonderful ghost stories from 13 Alabama Ghosts and Jeffrey while attending the celebration at the American Village! Watching the young audience become completely engrossed in these classic tales was a delight and a wonderful reminder of the power of storytelling to connect us with our history and folklore.
