Virtual Invention Convention!

We will be hosting this year's Invention Convention virtually the week of June 8. Students can participate in one of two ways:
In a live Google Meet with inventors in their grade
Or
By submitting a video of their invention

Registered inventors should have received an email with details. Parents and Guardians can email us at [email protected] if interested in participating.

Confirmation of participation should be submitted by June 1.

The Invention Convention this Saturday has been cancelled. The School Department is postponing all large events due to COVID-19 concerns.
We are in the process of making an alternate arrangement so that students can still present their amazing inventions and be recognized for their hard work. We will notify everyone when those arrangements are finalized.

It's the Plan It phase of the Invention Convention. If your child hasn't come up with any ideas yet encourage them to think about members of their community that may have challenges that prevent them from doing simple tasks. Is there an invention that could make things easier? Or are there ways to improve recycling or repurposing at home or school? Work with your student on recording their ideas and plans in their journals.

Happy inventing!
