Having found a gravestone on my property, I'm attempting to find the descendants, so the stone can be moved to it's proper place. The photo provides the deceased's information. Below is a possibility of the gentleman's family.
Suspected family members are located in Donegal Cemetery.

The good thing about these pre Pennsylvania Turnpike aerials, is that they help show just how much of the under construction South Pennsylvania Railroad work still could be found on the ground. Taking the actual survey maps of the railroad I super imposed them over the same aerial to show that the work is indeed that of the railroad. Look closely to see the property lines have not changed and were placed into the railroad surveys which helped to perfectly place the survey over the aerials.
Second aerial shows the same with the Pennsylvania Turnpike already built and operating. Note where the railroad is on the east end of Donegal, Pa.
The Ship Hotel in of July 1977.
Inj the color photo I placed the red lines representing the true alignment of the South Pennsylvania Railroad at Donegal, Pa along the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
What are your hours?
The survey maps atop the aerial showing the true right of way of he South Pennsylvania Railroad entering and exiting Donegal, Pa.
The right of way of the South Pennsylvania Railroad books are completed. From the Laurel Hill to Pittsburgh. Has the survey maps of the railroad over aerials showing the precise location.
I'm looking to see if anyone can help us identify the couple in this picture. They were found with old pictures of our family and we assume they are related somehow. All other pictures are people from the Indian Head area. Any help is greatly appreciated!
can you help me find the family these go to
Anyone out there have old photos of melcroft pa? Preferably the mines and railroad.
Hi everyone! Just wanted to share this photo with the group. This was probably in the early 30's. It was taken in front of the Grange Hall in Donegal. That's my Dad, Bunk Korzen, front and center holding the sign. I do have a chart with most of the folks named. Can't wait to hear who recognizes whom. :)
