Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary

Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary Check us out at www.TuckerWildlife.org! Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary is a non-profit nature preserve in Modjeska Canyon, on the outskirts of Orange County, California.

One of the few rural nature centers in the region, it provides a richness of habitat types that supports abundant and diverse wildlife.

Temporarily closed

Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary has survived the Bond Fire. All the animals and the grounds are fine. We can see the pink flame retardant that was sprayed on Flores Peak just behind us. This was close! Thank you for your concern. Our phone is now back in service.

I'm sure many of you have heard that we are under mandatory evacuation orders due to the Silverado Fire. Let us hope we are spared this time. All of the animals are safely evacuated, so Henry the tortoise and our 4 snakes, Bob, Julius Squeezer, Lydia and Rosie are out of harm's way.
