The Ohio Open Doors tour is coming up right around the corner! Visit the Shelby County Historical Society to sign up for this FREE tour and receive your passport featuring over 20 locations spread throughout Sidney and Shelby County! (A passport is required to enter in any private residence on the tour)

If you receive 10 stickers or more in your passport, return to the Shelby County Historical Society between September 14-18 to receive a gift (while supplies last) and be entered to win a beautiful America 250 coverlet!

We're only a month away from our 3rd annual Kids Day of Play event! At this time, we are still searching for a few volunteers who would be willing to oversee a children's activity that morning and afternoon! Do you have any photographs of Oran from over the years? These are three of only a very few we contain in our archives. If you are interested in sharing any with us, we would greatly appreciate it! Especially if they are from the early 20th century and show other buildings besides the church and school. Thank you!

We are still looking for some volunteers for the bi-annual Civil War Living History Weekend in Tawawa Park this September! Positions available include driving a golf cart, selling programs, and guarding the main gate 24/7.
