Little Miss Georgia helped me hang my work today! Swipe to see some of the things I hung!

As I was driving home today I had tears welling in my eyes. I have really been working hard these last few months and I am finally gaining some momentum towards my big goals. This last week has been a whirlwind balancing all the things! I felt such a relief and so much gratefulness for all that I have accomplished this year and all the support from my family and friends!

Now is the time to just keep going and keep doing that one small thing a day!!

Doing all the prep work for my installation going up Thursday! I haven’t been a part of a show for in several years! I forgot how much work goes into getting all the things done! But, man, I am so dang excited and having so much fun!

Just some sketchbook art. I took a class earlier this year and it was about how to use your sketchbook in a little different way. It’s not just about writing down ideas or quick drawings. Yes, that is what a sketchbook is for but it can also be a tool to try out new techniques, play with different mediums, and keep track of color mixes.

I have really been working on how to get my voice out of me and onto/into my work. My sketchbook process has been a huge part of this of late. Not only has this helped find my voice but it has also helped me to create more cohesive work!What does your process look like? Do you want to see more of my process?
