Spent the last few days at the Jack Daniel’s Distillery in Lynchburg, TN getting the VIP tour, tasting and learning all about this amazing brand. Jack Daniel’s has commissioned me to create some original fine art to replace the current signage in the charcoal mellowing room as part of the visitor tour experience. Thinking it will be a dyptich that will be comprised of two 60x48 paintings. Going to be a fabulous project!! 🥃🙌

Excited to have spent the last couple days at the Jack Daniel’s Distillery in Lynchburg, TN! I have been commissioned to create new artwork that will replace the current signage seen here in the Charcoal mellowing space as part of the visitors tour. Looking forward to getting back home to come up with concepts!

Another from the sold archives, a lot of artistic liberties taken with this one, something I need to get back to more consistently. The Day Begins on Kiawah, 36x48, oil on canvas.

One from the sold files, the house is in Shelby County, KY where we spent most of our time before moving to SC. We recently purchased 14 acres north of Shelbyville and will retire back to KY in a few years. We were in KY recently, the home is still there (on Hwy 55 between Elk Creek and Shelbyville). You can't see it very well as all over grown, loads of character from when I painted it. I love the landscape and scenes of rural farms all over Shelby County, KY. I titled the painting Forgotten, 18x24, oil on canvas.

Another fun commission from the archives, painting the bourbon/still life series from life is always humbling but very rewarding when they turn out well. I think this was either 11x14 or 12x16, oil.
