House of Puerto Rico San Diego

House of Puerto Rico San Diego Help us promote our rich Puerto Rican culture by becoming involved with the House of Puerto Rico, San Diego! The idea for a House of Puerto Rico in Balboa Park started in October 1972.
(11)

A group of San Diego Puerto Ricans led by Doña Casilda Pagan joined forces and organized ”La Casa de Puerto Rico.” After many years of fundraising, planning and hard work this vision is now a dream come true. The House of Puerto Rico Cottage Museum was inaugurated on Saturday, February 4, 2006.

Mission: Our mission is to: To promote a better understanding amongst people of all nationalities and races. To promote and cultivate the Puerto Rican culture and social activities with its members.

27th Annual San Diego Latino Film Festival POSTPONED Amid Coronavirus Concerns

Media Arts Center San Diego’s 27th Annual San Diego Latino Film Festival

San Diego, CA - March 12 - 22, 2020 -- In light of the new "Gathering" recommendations from the California Health Department announced Wednesday night; we regret to inform you that we have made the extremely difficult decision to postpone this year's 27th San Diego Latino Film Festival.

Our festival team has been moving forward valiantly; and doing what they could to limit the damage and have a smaller and wonderful film fest.

For the safety of all involved, we feel this is the best decision at this time. Please help our non-profit by informing the public of this unfortunate news.

Over the next few days we will try to re-organize ourselves & comprehend the totality of this announcement; and come up with new plans for moving forward with new 2020 festival dates.

“We appreciate your donations, patience, and support of the San Diego Latino Film Festival these past 27 years”, said San Diego Latino Film Festival founder, Ethan vanThillo.

Any updates will be communicated via email, social media and our website at www.sdlatinofilm.com. If you have any questions please call, (619) 230-1938.

My name is Suzka. I have a storyline podcast with a number of characters. I am looking for a female voice with a thick Puerto Rican accent. She's spicy, young (25). I've made it easy. Recording your scripted voice can be done on your own phone and then emailed to me. If you have any questions let me know. Thank you.

Gratitude. Once, again ...It was that time of “December Nights”, when we volunteered for a great cause with “mucho gusto” at la Casita, again. Yes, Rain ☔️ or shine🌤 , local food lovers and enthusiasts from all over the world were there. We sold out and for that we were grateful. We worked as a resilient team and proudly shared our culture, folklore, music, and a taste of our delicious cuisine and even, the traditional ”coquito” at the Spirit Garden (only) . Grateful for our inspiring and therapeutic music that kept us going till closing time. With lot of pride and commitment, we all,as part of two resilient teams got the job done! 💪🏼💪🏼🇵🇷 Priceless! Isla Bendita on the West Coast! Nuestra Casita es su Casa. 🏠🍵🤗💪🏼🇵🇷 See you there , next year! ¡Blessed and Feliz Navidad to all!
Gratitude. ¡Plena!!Grateful for the blessed, gifted, gorgeous young ladies that proudly shared our rich Puerto Rican heritage with our folclore dances to the tune of “Plena”, “Bomba”, and “Jíbara” music on San Juan Day at HPRSD for the last time! 😕🤗🤗🤗🌹🌹🌹💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷 We Thank you and love you, Reinitas! Best to you all in school and college! We are proud of all your achievements.😘😘😘💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷😘😘😘
