Get ready to make one-of-a-kind patterns on textiles in Natalie’s Shibori Dyeing Workshop! 🌼

Shibori is an ancient Japanese tie-dyeing technique that produces various patterns on fabric. In this class, you will learn 4 different techniques: itajime, kanoko, arashi, our nui, plus resist dyeing with mordants.

Unlock your inner creativity and leave with an artwork that’s uniquely yours. The best part is that all the materials used in class are eco-friendly so that you can make art sustainably!

Throwback to Natalie's botanical dye workshop! 🌸

During the class, we created our one-of-a-kind designs using flowers and plants found in nearby parks. The same flowers can produce different colors based on numerous factors – it's nature's little surprise! With so many plants around local areas, there is plenty to experiment with right in your neighborhood.

The best part was that everything we used was eco-friendly! Not only are natural ingredients less harmful to the environment, but they are also gentle on our skin (non-toxic and non-allergenic). Plus, using natural ingredients makes it easier to re-dye our creations for that extra touch.

It was the perfect activity for parents and children to enjoy together on a rainy Sunday! 🌧
