The Legends of Boxing museum enables boxing fans to come explore and enjoy precious items and artifacts, which are displayed for inspiration, learning, and enjoyment for the continued legacy of the sport of boxing and the athletes that make it famous. The museum is opened weekdays and on selective weekends for induction ceremonies. The WBC Legends of Boxing Museum is a museum that pays honor to th
e outstanding achievements and accomplishments of some of the greatest boxers of all time. In 2008, WBC President, the late Dr. Jose Sulaiman, Founder and Chairman of American Sports University Dr. Hwang, along with WBC Supervisor Dr. Rudy Tellez and WBC-LBM board members Jaime Ochoa, Vinnie Johnson, Angel Ochoa and Eric Casillas came together and spear-headed the creation, founding and opening of the West Coast's only boxing museum. On June 27, 2008, loving fans, civic leaders, local press, the boxing media, and legendary fighters came together to support and to celebrate the historical opening. Since then, the WBC-LBM has hosted annual inductions of the world's best boxers and those non-boxers that have dedicated their lives to the sweet science.
