Actor Julian Beck was born 101 years ago today. You may remember him best as the hypnotically soft spoken and unblinking ghost of Reverend Henry Kane in Poltergeist 2.
He sadly passed away at the age of 60 just after the film wrapped.
Many people believe his death among others is part of a curse attached to those films. And though I personally don't believe it, it is hard to ignore the death of the 3 cast members that passed within the 6 years of production of the 3 Poltergeist movies.
What do you think?👻💀

🎪On May 27, 1988 “Killer Klowns from Outer Space” was released in theaters! Written, directed and produced by the Chiodo Brothers, and starring Grant Cramer, Suzanne Snyder, John Allen Nelson, John Vernon, Royal Dano, and Christopher Titus. The plot follows evil extraterrestrials that resemble clowns arriving on Earth and invading a small town in order to capture, kill and harvest the human inhabitants for sustenance. It is the only film written and directed by the Chiodo Brothers, who also created the practical effects and makeup. The score was composed by John Massari. The title song "Killer Klowns" was written and performed by the punk rock band the Dickies. Later, the Chiodo Brothers took two Klown masks ("Fatso" and "Slim") and slightly altered, repainted, and modified them to become members of the trolls' army in Ernest Scared Stupid (1991).🎪
