We travel to the far reaches of the Earth to help tell the stories of the places we hope you can visit one day too. Flying above an Alaskan glacier was a first for us though. Getting to art direct and lead the video production of this exciting project has been a true treat. We've enjoyed doing more and more broadcast and media production over the years and looking forward to sharing more soon.

We bring a unique perspective to projects with decades of experience in theatrical and exhibition design. We dare to push the boundaries of what's possible to spark the imagination of audiences to dream bigger.

“According to legend, the gods had advised the Aztecs that the place where they should establish their city was to be identified when they saw an eagle, perched on a prickly pear tree, devouring a serpent. They saw this mythical eagle on a marshy lake that is now the main plaza in Mexico City.”

Caught in a Sinkhole? This Franklin Institute Exhibit Might Just Help You Survive

Opening this Saturday, Oct. 19th at The Franklin Institute

"Look, it’s probably true that you’ll never have to jump from a moving train car in your life. But don’t think of Franklin Institute exhibit that way. Think of it as a way to build life skills — panic reduction, efficient problem-solving — that apply to even the most mundane of tasks. Plus, if that train car scenario ever does come about, won’t you be glad you’re ready?"

It’s a wild, wild world out there. Can’t hurt to be prepared for some worst-case scenarios.

We recently cruised to Mexico aboard the Royal Princess with Tory Belleci and Kari Byron to bust a whole bunch of myths about traveling on the high seas.

It was a pleasure working with our colleagues at Brave New Pictures on bringing our clients' vision to reality. As always it's been a pleasure to continue working with Discovery and Princess Cruises.

Here’s the first video in a series of 9 that we led the creative direction for during a week-long shoot.

Worried about staying connected while sailing with @princesscruises? Well, @torybelleci & @karibyron from @mythbusters put MedallionNet to the test!

Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum fosters hope

"The explosion from the bomb, named "Little Boy," obliterated nearly everything within 10-square kilometers (nearly four square miles) in downtown Hiroshima, killing around 80,000 people. Radiation poisoning eventually sickened others, resulting in an estimated final death toll of 192,000 souls."

A day that changed the country of Japan and the world forever.

https://www.cnn.com/travel/article/hiroshima-peace-memorial-museum-japan/index.html

The Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum is where Japanese and people from all over the world come to reflect on the horror of nuclear weapons and the healing that has taken place since the August 6, 1945, bombing.

“If you think about it, HG Wells wrote First Men in the Moon in 1901. Imagine how incredulous, fantastical that idea was in 1901. We didn’t have rockets, we didn’t have the materials, and we weren’t really flying. It was incredible. Less than 100 years later, we were on the moon.” —Mae Jemison

Quilts from the American South are on display at the Philadelphia Museum of Art

Collections tell stories.

"Back in the time [my mom] was coming up, they didn’t have very much,” Pettway said. “Whatever little things they had, like clothes, when they wore out, they had to patch them. And when they could get some more clothes, they took the old clothes and made the quilts to help keep the family warm.”

On view at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

Works by prominent Gee's Bend quilters and part of a collection newly acquired from the influential Souls Grown Deep Foundation, promoting contemporary African American artists from the South.

Many know that Hans Christian Andersen, the famed Danish fairytale writer lived in Nyhavn for years and tourists from around the world go to Copenhagen to see landmarks associated with him, but were you aware of a statue of him in New York City? On Saturdays since 1965, New York children have gathered around the statue at the Conservatory Pond in Central Park to hear free stories from dynamic storytellers held rain or shine ever since. In Iraq Museum, There Are Things ‘That Are Nowhere Else in the World’

When we think of relevancy in art museums for youth, it's a global challenge that museums everywhere are looking to do something to inspire wonder and contextualize the histories of the past.

"Still, it is hard to get visitors, especially younger Iraqis, to feel that the museum’s art is relevant to their lives, he said.

While many more school classes come now than in the past, there is little to guide them — no docents or audio-guides, and scant audiovisual aids. The children rush through, stopping to touch a lamassu or another statue and then dash on."

https://www.nytimes.com/2019/06/09/world/middleeast/iraq-museum-baghdad.html

The Iraq Museum has a majestic, world-class collection of ancient art dating back 5,000 years, but it struggles to connect with an audience of younger Iraqis.
