Stop in and see the beautiful art work of former St. Ansgar graduate, Ann Libersky Kruger. Only three Fridays left on display. Also, look through two scrapbooks from the 1940's, filled with photos and newspaper clippings. On loan through October.

Join us this Friday, May 30, 2025 for a farewell gathering for Nels and Shirley Golberg who are moving to Austin. Nels has been a good friend to our Heritage Museum for many years. Stop in for refreshments and wish them well.

Happy Spring! Our museum hours for the 2025 season are: Open Fridays, from 1 to 4, and the first Saturday of each month, 9 to noon. And we are always happy to open other times for 1 or 100, so contact us.

Hello! We're back! Just had a meeting about our 2025 schedule for events and the museum. I'm posting our news letter with all the info in it for May. Updates to follow. This says 'What's on your mind?' Well, we would like for everyone to know about our annual upcoming Soup Lunch & Bake Sale during St. Ansgar's Hometown Christmas, Saturday, December 7, 2024 at the Legion. The Bake Sale starts at 9am til gone. If any of you would like to bring in something for it, you can do so on Friday, Dec. 6, from 4 to 6 at the Legion or Sat. morning from 8am to 9am. You are all such good bakers, we would love to have some of your goodies! And the money we take in goes for a good cause - to keep your museum one that you can be proud of.
The Soup we are serving this year is delicious chicken dumpling and tasty homemade chili. Along with your choice of pumpkin or apple pie for dessert. We start serving at 11 and will go until it's gone. You can eat in or take out and it's free will. See you there!

Hey everybody! Sorry it has been a while since we've updated you on museum events. We thank you all for supporting our annual soup lunch and bake sale. Ran out of the nummy chicken dumpling soup and didn't have much left of the chili! Bake sale went well. Thank you to those who donated baked goodies!
Christmas at the Museum was a hit! It was our second year to host this fun event. About 40 to 50 visitors attended the evening of live music with singing of Christmas Carols, enjoying hot Wassail and sweet treats. Members of the high school choir and their teacher, Hayley, who played the piano, sang beautiful songs. Was fun to have them be part of this. Denis Boerjon read Twas the Night Before Christmas, with some fun twists! Remember to join us next year!
