CALLING ALL ARTISTS, MAKERS + ARTISANS!
For the past 71 years, Rockford Art Museum has hosted Greenwich Village Art Fair as their end of summer fundraiser. This year things have changed, as we’re all very aware, and the weekend event is being moved online. We are embracing this change, however and are hoping to freshen up the list of artists, makers and small businesses featured. The weekend’s virtual event (happening September 19 + 20, 2020) will showcase a few photos, bio/statement and a link to the exhibitors e-commerce site. The weekend will also incorporate fun events such as virtual studio visits, workshops, music performances and demonstrations. The only fee involved for the artists is the $30 application fee - all sales that weekend are of course yours in their entirety and there will not be a traditional “booth” fee. Historically throughout the weekend Greenwich Village Art Fair welcomes around 6,500 people to the grounds to shop and we have over 2,500 followers on the Greenwich page with over 5,500 on the museum’s page. We are confident the digital traffic to the site will be substantial and will definitely bring new people to your shop. We are also committed to advertising the event online and in traditional print publications.
