👋 New followers; we look forward to celebrating with you this year. This album is from a 10th Anniversary celebration (10.22.25) at the 19th Hole at the Warehouses. Help us spread the word on the current Call for Proposals to be installed in the courtyard of the Emmett Scott Recreation Center adjacent to the newly renovated McGirt Auditorium. This call is open to artists/designers nationwide; however, we'd love to have local representation given the focus on Southside Rock Hill history.

👋 WAI friends. For those who are new to following us, in 2025 we celebrated 10 years of Women’s Art Initiative. We’re excited for 2026! We have a new Call for Proposals for a sculpture/feature to be installed in the courtyard of the Emmett Scott Recreation Center adjacent to the newly renovated McGirt Auditorium. Last week we celebrated with a final 10th Anniversary affair hosted at the home of Harriet & Martin Goode. It was such a lovely evening; thank you both again for hosting this celebration. Thank you to our enthusiastic founding members who met 10 years ago (in 2015) in Grazier’s living room to establish the Women's Art Initiative. This year has been exciting with many gatherings celebrating all that has been accomplished! It is truly an honor serving as President. I have learned so much by former Presidents - Grazier, Kathy, and Michelle. Thank you Members. Because of you, we celebrate that the Women’s Art Initiative is able to continue enhancing the quality of life through public art. Thank you to our current board. I am so appreciative for each of you and your dedication and determination to enhance our community. Y’all are awesome. Thank you all for your energy and time. Merry Christmas.
