Does the name Susan B. Anthony ring a bell? Anthony was an advocate for both abolitionism and women’s suffrage. She also expressed an interest in Christian Science. Anthony wrote to Mary Baker Eddy, the Discover and Founder of Christian Science, on multiple occasions, heard her speak, and owned a copy of Eddy's book, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures. She even took Primary class instruction in Christian Science healing with Eddy’s student, Laura Lathrop. http://ow.ly/uEP550B8L0p

We hear all too often of troubling incidents stemming from racism. Here’s a Christian Science Monitor "Christian Science perspective" audio clip in which a Black woman shares experiences of being confronted with racial slurs and the key role prayer played in healing those situations. It can too often seem that racism is a problem too big to heal. But nothing is too big for God, infinite Love, and we can each play a part in demonstrating that.
