Survey : Greeting

Hello everyone!

Hallockville is a special place and we want to make it even more special with your help! All of us at the museum would appreciate your input that will help make the museum farm a better community resource. The survey will take no more than 5 mins of your time, but would mean a lot to us! Our mission is to re-connect the community with our shared agricultural heritage and we want to make sure we are keeping that promise to you!

Thank you for helping! - Megan Shpak, Assistant Director

🎉 only 14 weeks until this years Fleece & Fiber Fair!

Here are a few pictures of a heard of Katahdin sheep who will be attending this years fair, with a few little additions! All the ladies pictured here are pregnant and they are anxiously awaiting to join us at the Fair!

👉 Fun fact about Katahdin Sheep: they are named after Mount Katahdin, which is located in Maine, where they come from! They are also hair sheep, so they do not have to be shorn. They shed like cats and dogs!

Ok all you last minute knitters! Here’s the best way to get that last bit of shopping done!

Still shopping? Me too!
.
Guys if you’re like me, and a majority of Americans.... you are still working on your holiday shopping! Life just gets in the way. I know how it goes. Look at me for example.. I got knocked down with a cold this past week that has unexpectedly gotten me behind.
.
.
The way I figure, my friends, work colleagues and probably even family members would be just as happy to receive a gift between Christmas and New Year ❤️
.
.
SO we here at LIYF are still shipping out every day on orders placed from now and through the holiday and even after.
.
We have open farm hours from now through the 23rd from 10am-4pm. Can’t make it by then? Just call to make an appointment! Cell # 631-680-6721. Don’t forget I live here so it’s no bother to me 😊
.
.
We have a wide assortment of gift ideas ranging from $5 and up. Many unique and one of a kind items. Knit sample sale items as well! So order online or come visit the farm and let us help you finish shopping 🛍
