Happy International Museum Day!

This years theme is Museums as Cultural Hubs: The Future of Tradition.
The Carpenter Museum has been a cultural hub for Rehoboth and the surrounding community for over 135 years! Pictured here is our farmhouse , modeled after a local 1760 home. It holds the colonial kitchen, exhibit space, our research center, offices, and public rental space.

Looking for a copy of E. Otis Dyer's Swamp Yankee? We've heard from a few folks interested in this important history of Rehoboth swamps after reading about it in the recent issue of the Rehoboth Reporter.

Not local? No problem; we can do mail order, too. http://www.rehobothantiquarian.org/museum-book-shop/

In December of 2017, Everett Otis Dyer of Rehoboth donated 433 acres of wetlands and uplands to the Rehoboth Land Trust for permanent preservation. Much of the area is the historically and …
