This rug for Triple T Guns in Wilmington, NC was a tough one. So many lines, gradient effect which I’ve never attempted before and some letters.

I’m not as happy with this one as I am with many of my other completed projects, but this one was a good bit of practice and it allowed me to practice the gradient effect.

Another two on the frame.

The Triple T Guns logo is for a gun shop in Wilmington and is by far, the harder one to do with all the lines and lettering. Additionally, there’s a bit of gradient color and I’ve never done that before. So, this will be an experiment. 😂

Bluey and Bingo are for a good friend that I met through influencing ( is my gun page) on Instagram. This one is fairly simple and progressing quickly. I originally messed up and put a blue for the stomach that matched too closely to the rest of Bluey’s color so I spent about 2hrs pulling the yarn so I could replace it for a lighter blue.

Ah yes, another shoe. These are apparently something everyone seems to love. This time I did one in a more “vectorized” type style.

This one was far easier than the first shoe, that’s for sure.

As a Star Wars fan, and a fan of Boba Fett, I’m very pleased with how this one came out.

This was the first time where I used multiple colors of different shades to give it a shaded effect.

Also, the dent on the helmet is actually carved out so in person, you can see and feel it. Unfortunately I couldn’t get the picture to show it.

This rug was a fun one. Challenging but fun. Although it was simple in terms of on being two colors, the mouth of the Jack Skellington was my own Nightmare Before Christmas.

I learned how to carve a little better on this one due to the numerous lines around the mouth, so that was a plus.

This one was a special one for a good friend of mine. My friend loves the Fallout franchise and is a current JTAC in 3SFG.

So, I combined about 3-4 different images to create this rug. Additionally, I used some reference photos to make the vault boy look more like my friend. This rug took quite a bit of time, but I enjoyed the process.

This is probably the one project that I enjoyed the end result of the most.

This rug was my first commission and for a good friend. The rug is my largest so far, at a length of 4ft.

There were a lot of firsts with this one such as doing a 3D-ish effect around the laces, adding a “shine” by using a thin strand of white, and completing the backing with twill tape as I have seen others do for a more professionally-made appearance.

I love how this Jordan shoe came out and I’m honestly not sure I could ever replicate it again 😂

This rug was my second project. My son absolutely loves SpongeBob and wanted me to make him one. It made his day!

On this rug I learned quite a bit. Being my second rug, I learned from a lot of the mistakes I made on the first one. On this one, I decided to carve/shave between switching colors and did it on the frame rather than waiting until the whole thing was done.

Additionally, I learned how to patch, because I messed up at some point and tore the monks cloth.

Although I can spot some imperfections, I am happy with it overall!
