Community participation and focus group interaction play a pivotal role in shaping the sustainability of museums and visitor centers! EXP is providing presentation designs, content and renderings to the National Park Service to advance its new projects. Last week, at Cane River Creole National Park, the Natchitoches community and Lt. Governor of Louisiana came together to see the newly renovated train depot, unveil the newest Louisiana Civil Rights Marker and share thoughts on EXP Studios designed exhibit elements including storyline threads and interactive experiences! The invaluable tool of community engagement ensures that exhibits and programs resonate with the diverse interests and needs of the local community of Natchitoches and Africa American history nationally. The evaluation process provides a platform for open dialogue fostering inclusivity and cultural relevance. Feedback allows museums to refine their offerings, making them more engaging and accessible to ALL! By actively involving the community, museums transform into dynamic hubs of learning and cultural identity!
