Botanic beadery is blossoming!
You’re invited to contribute to our latest Community Project, and this year’s theme is “Community Blooms.”
We want you to create beadwork flowers that will be part of a year-long exhibit in our Gallery. Once finished, the individual items are used in fundraising efforts for the Museum supporting the staff, development, and programs of this community-based institution.

Starstuff & Cosmic Dust, our 3rd annual Beadwork Challenge exhibit will close on June 28th, giving you one more month to come see this incredible show!

The theme is the final frontier itself, the Cosmos. The great astronomer Carl Sagan called the Cosmos “all that ever was and all that ever will be,” and yet it is also “the greatest of mysteries.”

We asked artists to show us what they thought about when they look up to the sky. Whether it was comets and constellations, aliens and astrology, or dwarf planets and dark matter–board your spaceship of the imagination and boldly go where these artists have wondered, and let us show you what can be envisioned of galaxies and worlds far, far away.

Join us for MOB Draw, a figure drawing night held every third Thursday of the month. Our next night is tonight, May 21st, from 6-9pm.
This is an 18+ event with live models. Not interested in models? You are also welcome to set up in our gallery and “draw” your inspiration from our sculptural objects.
$15 per person at the door goes to cover the model with any additional funds going directly to our registered nonprofit. Bring your own materials but please no paint in the gallery, chairs and a few tables provided.
