From The Collection!

Punji stick traps use pointed sticks of either wood, bamboo, or metal to incapacitate an individual. Used extensively by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War, many US service members fell victim to these infamous b***y traps. MCB 10 found numerous planted stakes around Chu Lai’s beachhead when they landed in 1965. Seabees pulled and repurposed these stakes to use as base perimeter protection.
