Phi Alpha Theta National History Honor Society

Today we remember Phi Alpha Theta member, Thomas John Ashton, who was 21 when he lost his life in the collapse of the World Trade Center's North Tower. Tommy was a member of Theta-Nu chapter at St. Francis College in Brooklyn. May he and all who perished on this horrific day rest in peace.

Found this in my "historical" files. This is the Phi Alpha Theta Cal Poly Pomona Halloween party circa 1987. Dr. Anthony Brundage (our advisor) is in the back wearing the bowler hat and doing a salute. Dr. Ron Yoshino is in front dressed as a devil. I (Marci Dehm) am in the center holding the beer bottle. Yvette Bertel is behind one of my shoulders and Major Tony Villardo behind my other shoulder. If anyone else can fill in names, please do! Happy days! I hope the current students have a wonderful time too!
