Thank you everyone for your patience. After serious consideration and looking at the outlook for the next few months, we have made the tough decision to cancel Living History Weekend. The thought of canceling Living History was not an easy one, but due to the CDC, Governor, and President's recommendations we decided it was the best decision for the safety of everyone. With people traveling from all over the United States and then the possibility of infecting a large number of people we wanted to reduce this possibility. We hope that everyone stays safe during this strange time, and will be refunding all of the fees that have been paid in advance.

At the moment we are looking to reschedule the tea to a future date. Stay Tuned to get more information about the new date.

For the last couple of days the musuem has been closed due to me being sick but got confirmation today that I have the flu. So the Maritime Museum will be closed the rest of this week but open back up hopefully Tuesday. Hope everyone stays safe and warm!!! Have a great weekend!!!

Last week I had the pleasure of visiting you all with Sea Scout Ship 16 Confluence. I just wanted to say how much I truly enjoyed the tour of the lighthouse and museum, and the kindness and knowledge of the staff there! Thank you for your hospitality!
Took this picture on Saturday, March 24, of fishermen coming in with their catch during the fishing competition. Looked at my pictures later and what do I spy in the tree in the background?? Is that a bear cub?? (Enlarge the pic on your screen.)
