An American abstract artist, she investigates the threshold between the visible and the invisible — where color, texture, and spirit converge. Informed by her background as a Transpersonal Spiritual Psychologist, her paintings emerge from an intuitive dialogue with Source, transforming pigment and matter into meditative explorations of energy and perception. Her palette flows between the contemplative depths of blue and purple to the ethereal expansiveness of pinks, teals and yellows, evoking both memory and transformation. Her abstraction becomes a spiritual language, speaking through vibration, light, and stillness. Each work offers a refined encounter, inviting viewers to pause, to feel, and to glimpse the sacred dimensions that extend beyond the ordinary. ARTISTIC INFLUENCES:
 Vassily Kandinsky
 Alma Woodsey Thomas
 Helen Frankenthaler
 Jonas Gerard

Walk into a room and something shifts. The light feels warmer. Your shoulders drop. You breathe easier. You might credit the furniture or the layout, but the real architect of that feeling? The art on the walls.

Color temperature, composition, scale, texture-these invisible forces reshape emotional atmosphere in ways your conscious mind never quite names but your nervous system always registers. A bold abstract in deep indigo doesn't just fill wall space; it anchors calm. A large-scale figurative piece draws the eye and creates intimacy. Warm earth tones invite lingering; cool minimalist works encourage clarity.

This is why collectors and designers don't just *buy* art-they *feel* their way toward it. That instinct you trust? It's not superficial. It's your space telling you what it needs to come alive.

The artwork you choose is the quiet psychologist of your environment. What piece changed how a room felt for you?

October is historically the season of change. What changed for you this year? As we reflect on some art together this morning, I'd like to know.

Epiphanies, moves, whatever it may be.

And if you're looking to change up your space, you could consider today's feature, "Whispers in the Forest" or the other work in my online gallery.

You left the fair thinking the hard part was done. But your collectors are still sitting with your work, still deciding, still thinking about that conversation at your booth. The real momentum doesn't happen during the event-it happens in the weeks after, when you follow up, when you share the story behind what you showed, when you keep the connection alive. That's when sales close. That's when relationships deepen. Treat each fair as one chapter in your career narrative, not the whole story. The work after matters more than the work during.

The prestige trap is real. Most artists chase the name, not the fit-and then wonder why their application gets lost in the pile.

Here's what changes the game: you're not looking for *the* fair. You're looking for *your* fair. The one where collectors actually buy work like yours. Where the curatorial voice matches your aesthetic. Where independent artists aren't an afterthought-they're the whole point.

That mid-tier fair? The emerging-focused one? The niche community you've never heard of? That might be your breakthrough. Research beats prestige every time.

Stop applying to fairs. Start applying to the ones that get what you do.

The slides show the data. Here's what we're seeing behind it: artists are no longer waiting for permission, and collectors who understand this shift are already building the most interesting collections. We're not saying traditional galleries are obsolete-we're saying the definition of legitimacy has fundamentally changed. The artist rejected five years ago? They didn't get better because a gatekeeper finally said yes. They got better because they kept creating, found their audience, and proved their work mattered. That's always been the real measure. We're here to accelerate that proof for both sides.

It's getting darker earlier; it might be time for some of you to haul out the blankets. The world is moving a little slower than it did in summer before it speeds up for the holiday season.

Is your home and office cozy enough for the season ahead?

Check out "Grand Rising" and the other artwork in my online gallery to find something that fits the way you approach the season.

Your nervous system knows the difference between scrolling and seeing. When your mind is everywhere at once, original artwork becomes the pause button you didn't know you needed-not a luxury, but a reset. One piece. One breath. One moment of clarity in a world designed to fragment your attention. That's the real work art does.

We had a great day today in the Netherlands! We went to an art exhibition by Jessie Dechering and then had a cappuccino by the water. Look at that boat! So much fun! 🤩 Thanks Rupert Agnes! 💜
