Desert Storm Mack! After purchasing this Mack RD-800 we discovered it was one of only 2 of the original 48 Macks sent to Operation Desert Storm in 1991 that made its way back home to the US. The Heavy Duty Mack trucks were used to move tanks across the Desert as well as well as other vital equipment in preparation of the war. We are proud to have discovered and own this Truck. With plans now shifting to restoring instead to its “Desert Storm Duty look” we had to find a military trailer and tank to complete the restoration process. We will keep you updated with pics of the restoration project as it proceeds.
