This is the “Golden Shrine” built-in 1651 called Ueno Toshogu, and it is a Shinto Shrine, Japan’s ethnic religion. This shrine is a “gongen-zukuri” which has three rooms for the three enshrined Shoguns;
Tokugawa Ieyasu, Tokugawa Yosimune, and Tokugawa Yoshinobu.

Some Japanese info, from the only police station I’ve seen so far to Japan’s toilets, even the public ones, have bidet to the inside of a local bus, quite lovely compared to the ones I’ve ridden in Philly. Some local people wear a kimono to attend a theater😍😊

Tsukiji Market: even though it was raining, there were still many people. I decided not to have breakfast at the hotel but to eat at this famous outdoor market. So I had scallops from those two young men grill cooking it to the delicious Yamagoyaki to the Wagyu beef (overrated) to sushi, my sushi chef, to lots of other foods, desserts included ending with this Siopao! It was an incredible foodie experience!😋
