Today, 03 October 2013, a day that will live in infamy... oh wait... that's been done. Well anyway, today, 03 October 2013 was Susan Vergara's last day as an employee of Caltech and Palomar Observatory.
I have more to say, but as Thumper once said "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all".

It's another warm one here, PODs. Either 99 or 93 right now, depending on which thermometer you're looking at. Whereever you are, stay cool and keep hydrated.

Rumor has it that Scott Kardel will be at OPT's SCAE on July 13. If you're going (so, why aren't you here on the mountain?) then be sure to find him and say hello!

As of 22 June 2013, we have a new Master Docent! Congratulations, Jay Schwabe!

I really want to thank the Palomar Obeservatory Docents for the marvelous way your team provides a fun, low cost experience for all of our local Scout groups. http://beascout.org
I would like to Visit the Observatory, would there be anyone there that is researching Black Holes that I would be able to talk to?
