Thank you SO MUCH to our friends at Longhorns & Lavender for hosting this amazing fall festival 🥮 We truly enjoyed our time and the beautiful autumn festivities! The kids painting pumpkins were adorable! I loved meeting all the animals and snuggling with my favorite boy, Nicholas 😁🙏❤️🐑 We got to see some adorable kitties, and puppies dressed in costume!

We even convinced Becky Allen to agree to an incredible, once in a lifetime photo (mostly because she actually never stops for one second) with her beautiful mother and daughter, Sage.

We loved our time there, and all the kind people we got to meet! 💖🙏 Thank you to everyone that participated, especially those of you that cooked - the food was amazing - someone absolutely put their ENTIRE HEART into the Mac and Cheese and I appreciate that 😂😂😂😂

Happy Fall, y'all! Until next time!! 🎃

⛪📸 HISTORY THROUGH OUR LENS: EBENEZER CHURCH — PART 2: BEYOND THE DOORS! 🔎📜

Remember when we told you there was MORE to discover at Ebenezer Church in New Tripoli, PA? Well, it's time to step inside! ❤️

We had the pleasure of photographing both the exterior and interior of this beautiful historic church, and the craftsmanship inside deserves a moment of appreciation! 🤎🪵

✨ FOUR BUILDINGS. GENERATIONS OF HISTORY. ONE INCREDIBLE LEGACY.

The present church dates back to 1890, but the congregation's story stretches back to the colonial era. Imagine how many generations have walked through these doors, worshipped beneath this ceiling, celebrated life's milestones, and gathered together through difficult times!

🪵 THE BEAUTY IS IN THE DETAILS!

One of our favorite things about photographing historic buildings is discovering the little details that might otherwise go unnoticed. The warm woodwork and interior craftsmanship give this sanctuary a character all its own. Every angle tells a story, and we couldn't help but admire the beauty preserved inside these walls. 📸❤️

🔎 NOW FOR THE MYSTERIES!

👀 Did you notice what we mentioned in Part 1? The cornerstone has a spelling error! What was the intended spelling, and how did the mistake happen? Was it an error during engraving, or is there another story behind it? We're curious!

🤔 And then there's the ceiling tile! One tile looks different from all the others. Was it a repair, a replacement, or something else entirely? We don't know the answer yet, but we're fascinated by the possibilities!

🎶 And let's not forget Ebenezer's connection to Andrew Carnegie and the Barckhoff pipe organ acquired in 1904! This congregation's history goes far beyond the beautiful building we see today.

❤️ THIS IS WHY WE LOVE HISTORICAL PHOTOGRAPHY.

We're not just photographing walls, windows, woodwork, and ceilings. We're preserving pieces of the past and sharing the stories of the people and communities who came before us.

📍 Ebenezer Church — New Tripoli, Pennsylvania

💬 HISTORY BUFFS, WE NEED YOU! Have you visited Ebenezer? Do you know the story behind the cornerstone spelling, the unusual ceiling tile, or the church's historic interior? If you have old photographs, family connections, or historical information, please share it with us in the comments! 👇 We would LOVE to learn more!

Happy October 17th

Last year as the summer came to a close Sherry Culbert, Daniel Shelley, and I got very creative! Sherry called and pitched this incredible idea ... "What if we use an old bike and dress vintage! " and we jumped at the chance! We love fun, original ideas, and we love supporting each other even more!!

I really love this shoot and we had so much fun and too many laughs together on this! Thank you Sherry for all of your support since day one of HD Photography! It means so much to us! 😘💓🥳🫂

🎓🍂 SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: KOLBIE & LILY! 🐱❤️📸

Senior sessions are always extra special, and this one definitely stole our hearts! 🥹💕

We had the absolute pleasure of photographing Kolbie and her beautiful cat, Lily! 🐾📷 There was perfect golden light, and calm peaceful water! These sweet moments under the trees made capturing these two so easy! They were so adorable together in front of the waterfall, and this session was filled with personality, love, and memories that will last a lifetime! 🍁💦✨

Because let's be honest… your senior pictures should reflect WHO YOU ARE and the things (and furry friends! 🐱) you love most! ❤️

Kolbie, we hope your senior year is everything you dream of and MORE! 🎓✨ Thank you for letting us capture these special moments for you and Lily! 🥰

Happy October 16th

This was one of my favorite fantasy shoots! We went to a German inspired village called Stoudtburg Village last year and decided to pretend I entered another country - and was a completely different person!

The outfit, umbrella, shoes, and location came together to create the most incredible images, and I'm very proud of them! Is this resonating with you? If you've had something to inspire you and can't figure out how to capture the image, please reach out to us! We're here for that moment!
