Lyme Art Association Welcome to our historic gallery and art center, founded by the American Impressionists in 1914.

The Lyme Art Association is a vibrant art center and gallery with major exhibitions throughout the year and a full schedule of educational programs. Yesterday, artists took to the streets, gardens, and scenic corners of Old Lyme for Paint the Town, capturing the character of our community en plein air. It was wonderful to see Old Lyme through the eyes of so many talented painters.

After a full day of painting, everyone returned for a cocktail celebration at the Lyme Art Association! Thank you to all of the artists and guests who made the day such a memorable celebration of art, place, and community. Thank you to Barbara Lussier for jurying the artwork and thank you to the Zach Brown Back Porch Trio for the lovely music.

Artists, join us for a day of plein air painting! Paintings will be juried by artist Barbara Lussier from 4:30–5:00 pm.
