Brady O’Brien
As a self-taught photographer and naturalist, my work bridges the gap between science and art by capturing the intricate beauty of often-overlooked species, particularly amphibians and reptiles. Growing up in Garrett County, I developed a passion for exploring the biodiversity of the Appalachian Plateau and Ridge and Valley regions, which inspired my pursuit of degrees in Wildlife Biology and Natural Resources. Guided by my Faith and fascination with nature, I aim to glorify creation and share its wonders through my photography, offering educational insights and promoting a deeper appreciation for the natural world. Red Barn In Snow

Jessica Fike – Photography
From the “Colors and Seasons of Deep Creek + Garrett County, MD” collection, this photo is a favorite. The red barn surrounded by white always catches an eye. I took it many winters ago after dropping my kids off at Sacred Meadow Montessori School in Accident. So glad I had my camera in the car that morning! This photo piece is ready to hang.

Danielle Luscombe – Fabric Collage
Danielle or Dani, founder of Dani Star Studios channels her passion for the planet into transformative artwork, utilizing textile waste to create stunning pieces that bridge the gap between sustainability and artistry. Danielle's artistic journey traces back to her childhood in Friendsville, Maryland, where she grew up surrounded by nature on a tranquil dirt road. Devoid of distractions like television, Danielle found solace and inspiration in the natural world, nurturing her budding creativity through sewing and painting.
