Good Afternoon Facebook Family
As I continue to heal, reflect and regain strength, I am reminded that history is not just what we read about it's something we carry within us.
Every struggle survived, every barrier broken, every lesson learned becomes a light for the next generation.
Today, I am reminded that education is the key, knowledge is power and sharing the truth is an act of love and community. When we pass stories forward we preserve courage, culture, wisdom and legacy.
Our ancestors endured so we could learn.
We learn so others may grow and together we move from the past through the present into a stronger future.
Let us continue to teach, to listen, to care enough to share the truth
Because history forgotten can be repeated.....
but history remembered becomes POWER.

Today, movement looks a little different.

Not every step is a march.
Not every movement is loud.
Some days… movement is healing. 💚

As I continue recovering from surgery, I’m reminded that slowing down is not stopping—it’s restoring strength for what’s next. The journey isn’t always pretty, but it’s purposeful.

Today we reflect on the power of self-determination through Malcolm X

🔥 “If you don’t stand for something, you will fall for anything.”

That stand doesn’t always look like protest.
Sometimes it looks like choosing yourself.
Choosing to heal.
Choosing to rise—again.

🌿 Today’s Movement Message:
Healing is movement.
Rest is resistance.
Recovery is part of the revolution.

So today, I honor where I am—not just where I’m going.
And I’m still moving… just with intention.

We got this. 💛
