Register now for our first Super Saturday program on September 17th.

Sound-tastic Discovery!

In this free program kids ages 5 to 11 take a journey through the human ear to learn how sound works and find out for themselves just what happens when sound waves are produced. Learners independently explore a variety of fun sound activities before using their imaginations to design and build their own sound machines.

Program times are 9 am and 11 am

Join us this Saturday, September 10th, for a special sneak peek at ChildrenConnect! We are hosting an open house from 10 to 12 Saturday morning and invite everyone to come see our space and meet the staff and some of our volunteers. We can't wait to see you all at 30 Temple Ave in downtown Newnan.

ChildrenConnect is a 501(c)3 non-profit entity established for the benefit of citizens in Newnan, Coweta County and surrounding areas. We are establishing a new children’s museum and discovery center in the Male Academy located at 30 Temple Avenue.
Our vision is to provide programs and activities 4 days per week including Saturdays. Programs and classes will be hands-on activities that encourage kids to get their hands dirty, ask questions and engage their curiosity. Program topics will be driven by children’s areas of interest and bring together science, technology, engineering, arts and math. These programs will be designed for:
• Toddlers and stay at home parents
• Home school groups
• Classroom field trips
• Afterschool learning activities
• Saturday workshops
