The Freedom Walk

The Freedom Walk DBNA's Freedom Walk takes you on a historical journey through Brooklyn and beyond, tracing the sites, sounds, places and people shaped our borough.

DBNA is proud to sponsor our own Freedom Walk, which highlights Brooklyn as the historic home of two of the nation’s greatest, most successful human rights campaigns: the Abolitionist Movement and the Underground Railroad – which culminated with the freedom of over four million enslaved African Americans
