Four days to go, we are almost ready for the inaugural edition of Jackson Hole Fine Art Fair. Kelly Fischer will bring in a total of 9 pieces of her recent works to the fair but we have decided to do museum hang for this fair and will show three pieces at a time (one for each wall) so collectors and viewers alike will have a better viewing experience.

It is an honor to be invited to participate in the inaugural edition of Jackson Hole Fine Art Fair. The fair will take place between September 12 and September 15, 2019 at the Snow King Sports and Events Center located at 100 E. Snow King Avenue, Jackson, WY 83001.

The inaugural edition of the JHFAF will present 50 respected galleries from 30 cities across the nation. The inaugural edition is a tightly curated boutique show featuring selective galleries showcasing a range of important artworks across genres.

For this upcoming fair, HG Contemporary Art Center will present a solo exhibition of its featured artist, the internationally renowned contemporary artist, Kelly Fischer and will showcase selective artworks from her Street Art series.

On May 3, 2019, the solo exhibition of Kelly Fischer at the Exhibition Hall of the Townhall of Mijas in Mijas, Malaga, Spain will open its door to the public. This is Kelly's first exhibition in Spain and we are excited for her new venture.

This special exhibition is further sponsored by The City Council of Mijas and the Swiss Consulate in Spain. It is a great honor to have received sponsorship from such prestigious institutions.

This particular Street Arts exhibition is a collaboration between HG Contemporary Art Center and the Malaga based VESANIART and is curated by VESANIART director Nuria Delgado. Nine pieces of Kelly's recent works had been selected for this special exhibition. Viewers will find traces of Kelly's signature symbols in all nine pieces - people and buildings. From the busy city views as portrayed by Kelly, you will find harmony and happiness in the state of chaos.

This Street Art Exhibition will open from May 3, 2019 to May 31, 2019 with the opening reception on May 6, 2019 at 19:00.

我喜歡旅行，在旅行中我更喜歡去瞭解當地人的生活，從而認識他們的文化。藝術和美食絕對是一個國家文化及文明的結晶。精緻的藝術和美食必需在一個高度發展且具有深厚文化背景的文明環境中才能產生。在這一環境中生活的人民也必須擁有高度的好奇心才能不斷的推動文明的發展。西班牙就是一個完美的範例。西方藝術的主要時期和不同的流派，如文藝復興時期，矯飾主義，巴洛克風格，洛可可風格，浪漫主義風格以及19世紀和20世紀以及波普藝術的藝術等都和西班牙的藝術家有深切的關聯。近代熱門的分子美食運用了許多物理及化學的原理，美食的品嚐也從生理的滿足逐漸提昇到視覺及心靈五官的追求，而這些改變都從西班牙開始。我想與你們重新感受西班牙。

由黃氏當代藝術中心策劃，英國指標性的黑蕃茄旅遊集團(“Black Tomato”) 執行的客製 [12-天西班牙藝術與美食豪華精緻之旅] 現在接受報名。 這個團預計於5/17/2019年由馬德里出發, 5/28/2019在巴塞隆納結束，其間會参訪馬德里(Madrid) 、畢爾巴鄂(Bilbao) 、聖塞巴斯蒂安(San Sebastian) 及巴塞隆納(Barcelona) 。全團只限14人。

本團特聘當代藝術家及策展人劉涓為本團的隨團藝術顧問，方便團員能隨時和她討論。另外，在馬德里及巴塞隆納，本團特聘两位資深藝術史專家，同時也是官方特聘藝術導遊來為團員解說及導覽。藉由黑蕃茄旅遊集團的安排，團員在参觀美術館時將享有免排隊的特權，可直接到特展區参觀。團員並可在我團特約導遊的安排下進入館內一般不對外開放的區域参觀。在藝術的部份以首都馬德里及巴塞隆納為主，將有系統的介紹西方美術史的發展，具代表性的藝術家及其作品，將涵蓋從文藝復興時期到當代的作品。預計参觀

紐約訊---- 華裔旅美當代抽象藝術家劉涓，將於5月19日下午兩點，在紐約法拉盛黃氏藝廊舉辦一場藝術講座，主題為【威廉 帝庫尼的女人】，歡迎民眾免費參加。

自古以來，藝術家對於繪畫「女人形體」的創作，始終是情有獨鍾。 「女人形體」是唯美和浪漫的象徵。然而，到了十九世紀、 二十世紀藝術家對於這個主題的創作，有了新的詮釋。
這次講座，將帶您經歷十九世紀、和二十世紀以「女人形體」 為主題的繪畫創作。以及藝術家們以此主題創作時，所持有的態度。 特別介紹的藝術家為：法國畫家馬內 Edouard Manet (1832-1883),、西班牙藝術家畢卡索Pablo Picasso (1881-1973)、美籍荷蘭藝術家威廉. 帝庫尼Willem de Kooning (1904-1997)，和 英國藝術家盧西恩.弗洛伊德Lucian Freud (1922-2011)。

Jane Liu / 劉 涓

華裔旅美當代抽象藝術家Contemporary Artist、藝術作家、畫廊總監和國際策展人，致力於東西方藝術交流。擁有美國克萊蒙大學研究所(Claremont Graduate University)藝術創作最高學位(Master of Fine Art degree)、美國加州州立大學洛杉磯分校CSU Los Angeles藝術學士(BA degree)、國立台灣藝術大學(National Taiwan University of Arts)主修應用美術。她是台灣藝術大學南加州校友會2016至2018年的會長。
她是一位創作型的藝術家，以美國當代「抽象表現主義」Abstract Expressionism為繪畫創作方式。目的是為營造與觀賞者共有的互動體驗， 啟發觀賞者自我思考的模式。作品中，展現視覺以外的思考空間。觀賞者對她作品不同的闡述和理解，豐富了作品原始內容的同時，也增加了作品的親和力。
她創作的靈感泉源，出自於與生活息息相關的日常生活經驗。例如:旅行者的記事、喜怒哀樂的情感表達、發現「新大陸」的驚喜等等。她定期為三家不同雜誌撰寫歐美藝術分享文章、西方當代藝術家介紹、和其他與藝術有關的報導。三家雜誌分別為畫廊雜誌Gallery Magazine(中國發行)、藝術鑑賞Art Appreciation magazine(台灣發行)、文苑雜誌Field(美國發行)。她的藝術報導及圖片分享，經常被大學教授當作課堂上的教學教材來使用。同時，她在美國洛杉磯、紐約，以及在台灣多次被請為演講講員。美國HTTV 31.2漢天衛視電視節目「美麗人生」，邀請她為藝術專題採訪嘉賓和藝術顧問。

FLUSHING, N.Y., April 30, 2018 --- Flushing, Queens, New York based Hwang Gallery is holding a solo exhibition [The Most Beautiful Color Of All] for internationally renowned artist Kelly Fischer from May 10 to May 20, 2018.

Originally from Tennessee, Kelly Fischer has lived in Switzerland for the past thirty years. She maintains strong connections in both countries, spending equal time at her studios in Bern and Memphis. Her paintings have been featured at numerous galleries and exhibitions, including Art Basel Miami, the Austrian Biennale, and the Venice Biennale and many of her works have been collected by institutions such as Santa Fe Children’s Museum in Santa Fe, NM and Germantown Performing Arts Center in Germantown, TN. Aside from art, Kelly has published eleven children's books and is the former founder and head of the English Montessori School of Bern.

Kelly’s semi-abstract, expressionist portraits tell a story of whimsical spontaneity. Based on an underpainting her art begins to emerge as color and texture is added layer by layer. The landscapes pull the viewer into a world of color, light, and emotion. Her body of work has developed and evolved over time, with much of the outcome being driven by creative impulses.

About Hwang Gallery

Hwang Gallery was formally established on April 25, 2014. Located in Flushing, Queens, New York, Hwang Gallery is situated in the heart of downtown Flushing, a major hub for Asian communities. The gallery is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization (NYS approved, pending federal approval) that seeks to promote artists and foster intellectual exchanges between artists and art lovers. It aspires to serve as a platform that introduces Asian artists to the Western world, and Western artists to Asian domains. The gallery focuses on solo exhibitions and academic seminars that address subjects of art and music.
