Okay... a big long post with photos of the new Moynihan Train Hall in New York. The new “Penn Station” is certainly an improvement on the former entry into Manhattan. One still has to ascend from the depths when exiting a train, but at least there is a reward at the top of the escalator. On your next trip to NYC I’ll show you.

Not allowed to give tours inside just yet, but I am hopeful it will be soon. I can provide you with a Central Park tour to the door of the Met right now!

Out on this Sunday scouting architecture for upcoming Midtown Manhattan walking tours. Always one of my favorites, St. Peter’s Lutheran Church of Manhattan. By the 1960s it was known as the Jazz Church, the current version dates to 1977. One of the highlights on my modern or religious architecture tours! Looking forward to leading personal walking tours in the future. Come exlpore New York City on an intimate scale with me.

A personal note:
I am an independent Licensed NYC Guide. In early March, my colleagues and I saw our income vanish. Shortly thereafter I developed symptoms of the novel coronavirus COVID-19. After 21 days of quarantine and 20 more days I am well. I walk the City’s streets to build stamina. I am a survivor. I hope to guide people on these streets in the future.
Until then: Be safe. Be well.
