We currently collaborate with an organization in the red light district of Mumbai, India and a grassroots orphanage in Cambodia. Kids Postcard Project was started on a whim in 2006, because I wanted to give back to poor kids in the countries that I travel in. I collaborate with two organizations, one, AAWC, working with the children of prostitutes in India's red light district, and the other, ODA,

a grass roots arts orphanage in Cambodia's Siem Reap. Each year I propose a theme, and do art workshops with the kids, then produce calendars and cards to sell back at home over the holiday period. 100% of the profits from these sales are returned to the two organizations. I take nothing out of the project for myself, except the satisfaction of knowing I'm helping a little bit, but mostly it is you that are helping, by buying our products!
