Louise Nevelson opens this Friday, June 13th.

Renowned for her assemblages built with found materials scavenged from the streets of New York City, Nevelson’s sculptures incorporated combinations of materials and forms that manifested in her distinctive approach to abstraction. Similarly, the artist pushed the boundaries of the print medium, refreshing traditional forms, while expanding the possibilities of what a print or multiple could be.

Exploding her editions into three-dimensional space, Nevelson’s paper pulp reliefs and polyester cast-resin multiples of the 1970s and early 1980s represent the convergence of the artist’s sculptural and printmaking practices.

Cast-resin multiples like Night Blossom (1973) represent the closest analog to Nevelson’s wooden sculptures.

This is the last week to visit our presentation of works by Nina Chanel Abney and the group exhibition, Post-Minimalism. Both shows close Saturday, June 14.

Nina Chanel Abney presents 21 variations of the artist's Soup Kitchen series of painted stainless steel and aluminum multiples alongside a grouping of cast paper collage works. Abney’s recent print edition Magic is also on view.

Post-Minimalism investigates the transition beyond Minimalism which saw artists foregrounding simplicity, geometric forms, and clean lines, but with a renewed focus on materiality, and features work by Peter Halley, Mary Heilmann, Sol LeWitt, Robert Mangold, Robert Ryman, Joel Shapiro, and James Turrell

We are pleased to announce Louise Nevelson, an exhibition of lithographs, aquatint etchings, cast paper reliefs, and sculptural multiples celebrating the decades long relationship between Pace Prints and the artist.

The exhibition will be on view from June 13–July 5, 2025, at 536 West 22nd Street, and coincides with a solo presentation of Nevelson's work currently on view at the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York.

Renowned for her assemblages built with found materials scavenged from the streets of New York City, Nevelson’s sculptures incorporated combinations of materials and forms that manifested in her distinctive approach to abstraction. If you're in New York this week, don't miss your chance to see Robin F. Williams' new exhibition Night Shift, which presents new monoprints and collages created by the artist at Pace Prints.

Known for their boundary pushing approach to figurative painting, which utilizes graphic and illusionistic techniques alongside innovative mark-making, Williams delved into the technical and material potential of printmaking when creating the works for this show. To complement their fastidiously hand rendered subjects, the artist took on a more playful and improvisational approach in the printshop - collecting and layering imagery, while also introducing graphic elements.

You can also RSVP to our recently announced gallery talk featuring Robin F. Williams in conversation with artist Marilyn Minter.

Seating is limited, and RSVPs will be required for all attendees
