This video was made many years ago on a tour of the historic King Park grounds in Atlanta, GA. ⛪️ Visiting Ebenezer Baptist Church was most sacred (besides the pool of course).

On Saturday,April 30th Crown Heights will ignite again the spirit of 'Swinging the Ball out of the Park' via the amazing life and works of Jackie Robinson at Ebbets Field. Jackie Robinson would've been 103 this year.

We're preparing to feed and provide t-shirts to the first 103 attendees that show up to the event. Outdoor activities include: Opening ceremonies, tabling with local community and social justice organizations, food, games and music.

Indoor activities require vaccination and include: A Batting Cage, Read Aloud, Footage of Jackie Robinson and the Movie 42.”

To attend (and we could really benefit from additional volunteers as well) just fill out the registration form from the QR Code on the flier. See some of y’all there!

Happy Black History Month! Indeed the black experience is not one thing ....It’s Everything! Everyone can take part in amazing happenings all over NYC this month and find spaces all over the world to celebrate year round. Shout out for highlighting places in NYC and for this cool ad in the neighborhood.

Greetings from Choose a day this week to go by a lake or your local park. Stop to take it all in and breathe in and out. Allow your soul and your senses to be blessed by the sound of nature.

Doing this before work, school and additional hours of heavy brain activity may allow you to receive information a bit better later. Not to mention the time just enjoying yourself.

You can repeat this of course during break and after your day is done. Have a great week!
