Spent the weekend studying William Albert Allard and re-edited these photos that were a few posts ago. I’m gonna leave the old edits up for comparison.

My theory is that the old Kodachrome film the Nat Geo guys used really boosted the brightness parts of the image and desaturated the whites as well. No matter the color cast of the scene, the white elements have no color cast. Plus, the scene could read dark, and the white elements are rippin bright. (Lots of ci******es caught my eye)

Anyway, just messin.

I know the Stratocaster has been in the middle of some controversy lately, but you can’t deny its beauty. This particular Strat has been with me on the journey almost the whole way. I owe this guitar a lot. So it felt right to make a portrait of it.
