Welcome to Gilded Edge Studios, an artist collective, co-founded by Jesse & Kit Baker and based in the Bayshore Arts District, Naples, Florida. He studied woodcarving and gilding through professional development programs at the Smithsonian Institute and conservation studies at Buffalo State College, Art Conservation Department. Kit’s been an avid art supporter for over 40 years, supporting nonprofit art organizations through strategic planning, event management, and grant writing. Her love is connecting with artists and engaging in conversations about the artistic process. She's active within southwest Florida as a member of United Arts Collier, the Naples Art Institute, and serves on the board of directors of the Bayshore Arts District, Inc., and The Glitter Foundation, Inc. Kit recently jumped into her artistic practice and was honored to participate in the Florida Nature 2023 Summer exhibition and has works available through the gallery at PICASSO in Naples.
