Thanks to Jean Matteson for planting our flowers out front. She chose red, white and blue to get us into the spirit of the upcoming 250 Anniversary.

Also, do you notice anything missing? We moved Chief Shabbona into the Museum this past week. The wood carving by Brian Nolan was beginning to show signs of wear. So, we moved it in, in an effort to preserve it.

The (unofficial) I&M Cleaning Crew was out this past Saturday... Will you be out this weekend?

Volunteer Dan Brzeszkiewicz cleaned up a major segment of the I&M Canal Trail, beautifying and removing harmful trash so that the community can enjoy. Thank you!

Considering covering a section near you? You don't have to go it alone. Dan has expressed interest in joining a group or individual that's planning to do a Clean-Up this weekend. Let us know and we'll connect you (or you can reach out through Facebook).
