Ann Marie Batiste LLC My passion began by taking a single art class in high school at age 16. My paintings come from life experiences, human injustice, pain, and joy.

Blessed with artistic talent by the one above, GOD, I've created 1200+ portraits in India ink, graphite, oil, watercolor, acrylic, and gouache. While I have been practicing for 43 years, I still have so much more to learn. The past 8 years I offered my art and classes to a local audience and now I'm taking the leap into the online world of selling art, hoping to reach across the nation, eventually

The Trinity Lutheran Youth ministry from Ironwood and guests came to create their beautiful masterpieces today! Youth have no fear in the good way, they trust the process and absolutely have the confidence when given the chance to create on their own! Thank you to Amy Schimke for organizing all of this. Today was a beautiful day spent with beautiful people at the Villa Maria Nursing Home celebrating Nurses Week! Thank you to Leah Simonich for organizing and helping me setup and tear down. Thank you to Kamryn Swartz for always being so helpful and kind. Thank you for all the aides, Nurses, and clients that helped this be another successful event!

May1st was a great day for me as an artist! The help of many people from past to present are to be thanked. My father Joseph DeCarlo, my mother Charlotte, my niece Chloe Menninga and a great artist friend Jody Jurakovich whom directed Martin and David to my studio/gallery. All these paintings that sold today were inspired by my family! I can't thank these two gentlemen enough. They will be back they absolutely fell in love with Ironwood and my work. I can’t tell you what that does for someone like me. It lifts me up. I praise God for the gift he has given me so freely.

Now unto to the next painting!

"Friends of the Hurley Public Library" invited me to paint with all of these beautiful people!

Thank you Sunny Ofstad , Kandie Harma , Anna Vokolek , Diane Zengal, Peggy Williams, Michelle Pearson, Brittany Dabbs, Amanda Strehlow, Dawn Strehlow , McKenna Orr, Haley Banks Beltran , Carol Pisani , Krystal Ferrell , Alicia Warminski , Pam Langa, Sue Lesky , Nicole Hocking , Janice Ruppe, LuAnn Stella , Diane Hamberg, Katie Nelson, Sarah Nelson, Vicki Nelson , Helena Ciatti and Dee Gen.

This painting taught us about layers, washes, and drying time. Filling up negative space with flowers and blending the background was also important.

Thank you Lori DeCarlo-Kienitz , Rodney Batiste , Kandie and Sunny for helping set-up and tear down.
